Noosa is famous for offering a unique experience to its tourists that comprises of serene natural beauty and man-made wonders. This integrated environment gives Noosa a heavenly feel which is what attracts large crowds part of Australia. To top it off Noosa has an extensive collection of top restaurants and excellent accommodation with modern amenities to offer.

The range of attractions for tourists making their way to Noosa is the local food, water based activities, national parks, quant hinterland mountain villages and amazing shopping opportunities. Noosa comprises of a network of small towns such as Tewantin and Noosaville. Each town has its own distinct culture which makes it an exciting place to visit. Similarly each town has its own range of attractions to explore.

Noosa Heads is one of the most popular places to visit in this region. It incorporates the entire canal estate of Noosa Sound, Noosa Hill, Little Cove and the Hastings Street. The beautiful LagunaBay acts as one of the borders for Noosa Heads. Some of the local attractions include the NoosaNational Park which is the pride and joy of the town and a must visit site for tourists. Close by at the junction you will find many supermarkets and shopping complexes to explore along with a cinema centre to enjoy. The famous SunshineBeach lies to the south of the National Park. This exclusive beachside town has its on shopping centre and a range of top restaurants. Visitors can also engage in surfing at this site.

The NoosaRiver is also a must to explore for tourists. The river comprises of a total of 40 km of waterways that are all navigable. As you travel down the river you will be able to access the many cafes and restaurants of the bordering Noosaville. The Noosa Harbor Market Town is your one stop solution for finding all kinds of watercraft. If you want to get a taste of some local arts then make your way to the Noosa Regional Gallery in the close by town of Tewantin. This is also an excellent location for travelers to embark on an exploration of the FraserIslands and the NorthShore.

A host of different events are conducted annually in Noosa which also serve as a major tourist attraction. Many visitors like to plan their holidays in accordance with their favorite events so as to get a chance to witness them live. If you intend on catching the Noosa Festival of Surfing then you should try and make your way to Noosa in March. This is a time when longboard enthusiasts storm to the beach and engage in the surfing competition. The Noosa Long Weekend is celebrated in June. This is more of a cultural event where local arts and crafts, theatre, music and other such events are organized.

The Noosa Festival of Tennis is celebrated in July and is an excellent opportunity for tennis enthusiasts to catch professional tennis players in action. The King of the Mountain race is conducted on Mt Cooroora which forms part of the small town of Pomona. The Noosa Jazz Festival held in September is a calling for all jazz music enthusiasts and is regarded as being the biggest event of the region. The last week of October holds the Noosa Triathlon which is another crowd puller.
